We will hold a long range match (out to 400 yds) on Sunday, November 14th
General Overview
Main match (Saturday): Sign in begins at 8:00, shooters meeting at 8:45, hammers down at 9:00
After four stages we will break for lunch. Lunch is included in our match fees!
Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun side matches will be shot during the match, Pocket Pistol and Derringer will be shot immediately after the main match.
A short awards presentation will be held after the side matches.
Long Range Rifle match (Sunday): Sign in begins at 8:00, sight-in until 8:45, shooters meeting at 8:45, shooting at 9:00
Rules
All SASS rules apply. No special range rules are in effect.
Brass
This is not a lost brass match, but it's not an Easter Egg Hunt either. Brass can be quickly retrieved on posse-by-posse basis if everyone keeps up on it and it doesn't slow down the pace.
Registrations and late fees
All registrations should be in by 10/15. A late fee of $10 dollars will be charged on the day of the shoot.
Registrations not arriving by the match date will require the fee to be paid the day of the match and your check will be destroyed or returned by request. If you haven’t received a confirmation by 10/22 send an email to dmseale@sbcglobal.net
Awards
One to make a category. ** Paper award only.
Five in a category awards to 1st and 2nd.
Six or more in a category awards to 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Additional places may be recognized for larger categories.
Raffle
Raffle tickets will be available all day and up to the point of the drawing. The drawing should occur during the awards presentation.
Vendors
Vendors are welcome! Vendors are not required to be a sponsor of the match. For sponsorship information contact WJ Cowboy Company at 512-778-6778.
Round Count
Minimum 80 pistol, 80 rifle and 50 shotgun for the main and side matches.
Campers
Primitive camping welcome all over the ranch, no running water at the range. No charge for camping spots but please confirm by contacting WJ Cowboy Company at 512-778-6778.
Range will be open at 3:30 the Friday before for campers
